Glimpses Of My Books

Another week, another "quickies" post. Once more I read some of the books on my tbr that are a little older. It is being nice getting to some of them :)

There is a fair amount of reviews that did not make its way here this past few weeks. Some because they were older titles and although I try to review everything I read when I am busy that is a little difficult, so I skip reviews on older publications. Others because I did not love the book and wasn't inspired to write a review. Whatever the reason, here is a line or two on the books I read recently that did not get their own post on the blog:

Hello Hello Sunnies! I hope you are all staying safe during these crazy times. My Kind of Cowboy  was my first read for May and I thoroughly enjoyed it, RC Ryan writes easy to read stories and easy to love characters.

It is no surprise to anyone that has been following me for a while that I am obsessed with this series by Grace Burrowes. All the books are, no exception, historical romance heaven!

One of my favorite things at work is Q&A time. Our Romance Book Club reads 2 books a month, and for one of them, we always have an author joining us with a Q&A. In April we read  Marriage on Madison Avenue . I loved the book and I am so glad I get to share our Q&A with Lauren Layne with all of you. If you haven't read her books yet, give it a try :) 

I loved Sin and Ink - the first book in the  Sweetest Taboo  series - and was really looking forward to this one. I am happy to say it was even better than the first book! I am not one to get emotional reading, I got emotional... This story was full of passion and heart. 

Abigail Owen was a new author to me last year. I was given a copy of The Rogue King   and fell in love. So much so I added her book to my local book club list (Q&A with Abigail here ). So of-course, when I saw this beauty I just had to read it. It was paranormal romance heaven! What pnr lover does not enjoy a good shifter story?
